6 June 06 Morning

This morning I was dreaming my butt off… Last night I watched a TV show talking about an ancient people in the Andes Mountains of South America and it showed where they lived and how the area was endowed with some geo-mystical powers. Well, my dream had to do with taking a trip to Mexico, then trying to get to that place.

In my dream, I was angry with my wife, so I didn’t tell her I was leaving. I boarded a plane, and watched out the window as we took flight from a parking lot! I could hear the engines roar as the jet kicked the engines into high gear.

Once in Mexico, a Mexican guy welcomed a bunch of us at a welcome center of sorts, and therewere brochures on display, and a lot of Americans chit-chatting in the background.

SO, I asked another American how to get to that ancient village in the mountains, (I kept wanting to say hope mountain) and a lady showed me a brochure. Then suddenly I was walking through a streed in line with a bunch of other tourists in down town mexico city or somewhere, and I was kind of scared as we headed down into a run-down section of town and 2 tall black dudes wearing checkered turbins suddenly blocked our path and pointed, indicating that we can’t go any farther.

We quickly went back and suddenly were back at the tourist center where I was once again helped by that Mexican guy. I found out that I could get there, and I remember anticipating how much it was going to cost to get there- thinking 30 or more dollars to ride the train, but the guy looked at me and said, “6 cents”.

The next thing I know, I’m riding down the road in the passenger side of a car heading up route 365 near Remsen, New York, heading toward the Greg Jarvis Dam. I looked and observed the most beautiful sunset ever! I t was soooo colorful… a deep purple/lavender/violet then a deep/bright orange then red, then yellow, then the colors repeated themselves in the clouds over head. I could only tell my wife, who was driving, “Wow! That is Beautiful! Holy cow!” Then as we approached the dam, I saw that something was burning on top of it… like there were natural gas spouts sticking up our of the top of the dam, and were flaming… adding to the light in the sunset like some kind of optical illusion.

As we passed the dam, I noticed that the top of the dam, right beside the road where there are parking spaces for people who want to sight see, that there were military vehicles parked there. They were two and a half ton, 5 ton, and hummvees. They were covered in tarps so that only their front grill and bumpers were showing.

This is all I remember of this dream.
